So, yesterday, I did this lame little drawing of Tom Waits riding a tricycle for the Sticky Note Challenge. I posted it on Instagram. Mr. Waits' record label, Anti-Records, subsequently "liked" it on Instagram. Needless to say, I was pretty hyped. However, a wave of shame washed over me as I realized that my little post-it note sketch looked more like Jakob Dylan than Tom Waits. So, I decided to make up for it by taking a little more time to do a proper drawing of Mr. Waits. He's fairly difficult to draw. He has an interesting face and features, but the hardest part is trying to make the drawing as raw & unique as he is. It's tough. He's the real deal.
